EMPOWER Project Disseminates Research on Disability Inclusion in Mungule Ward

Earlier today, Archie Hinchcliffe Disability Intervention (AHDI), a Women and Girls Fund grantee implementing the Women and Girls Fund project titled EMPOWER – Enhancing Meaningful Participation and Opportunities for Women’s Equality and Rights, hosted a dissemination meeting on research conducted in Mungule Ward, Chibombo District, focusing on barriers to inclusion for women and girls with disabilities.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from government line ministries, headmen representatives, teachers, and parents of children with disabilities. The event was officiated by the Chibombo District Commissioner, Mr. Lloyd Kayeka.
