WGF Launches 5-Day Capacity Building Programme for WGLOs in Rwanda
This week, the Women and Girls Fund is supporting a five (5) days capacity-building training programme for Women and Girl-Led Organisations (WGLOs) in Rwanda..
Implemented by YWCA Rwanda in partnership with FAWE Rwanda, and funded by the Scottish Government through Ecorys UK under the Women and Girls Fund project, the programme is equipping Women and Girl-Led Organisations with the knowledge and skills needed to strengthen their advocacy, amplify the voices of women and girls, and drive meaningful change in their communities.
The training provides participants with practical skills in advocacy and policy engagement, proposal writing, organisational development, and resource mobilisation, enabling them to more effectively influence policies, engage decision-makers, and secure resources to advance their work.
By strengthening the capacity of Women and Girl-Led Organisations, the programme is helping to build a vibrant network of grassroots organisations that are well-positioned to champion gender equality, promote the rights of women and girls, and address the unique challenges facing their communities.
The Women and Girls Fund reflects a shared commitment to investing in locally led solutions and ensuring that women and girls are at the forefront of shaping inclusive and sustainable development across the region.
