WGF Grantee GORA Advocates for Inclusive CDF Management in Malawi
Good Results for All (GORA), one of the Women and Girls Fund grantees in Malawi, has called on newly formed Constituency Development Fund (CDF) committees in Ntchisi District to uphold transparency and accountability in their duties.
Executive Director Mathias Chindungwa stressed that the K5 billion allocated per constituency should benefit communities, especially women and youths, in line with the established guidelines. He made these remarks after engaging a committee in Senior Chilooko’s area with support from the Scottish Government, Ecorys UK, and FAWE-Malawi.
Committee Chairperson Edison Kang’oma pledged the committee’s commitment to working towards the development of the district.
