Amplifying the Lived Experiences of GBV Survivors in Bugesera
Today, Life Changing Endeavor Organization (LCEO) convened a community engagement session in Bugesera district, Gashora Sector as part of the Justice Without Barriers project — an evidence-based advocacy initiative supported by the Women & Girls Fund
The session brought together GBV survivors to share, in their own words, the experiences they have faced when navigating GBV services, legal aid, and psychosocial support systems.
Their lived experiences are invaluable. Every testimony collected today strengthens the evidence base that will guide our collaborative work with government institutions, service providers, and community stakeholders — with one shared goal: ensuring that every GBV survivor in Bugesera can access the support they need and deserve.
