Rwanda Women and Girls Fund (WGF) Design Workshop

From November 20-22, 2024, FAWE Rwanda, in collaboration with Ecorys, hosted a three (3) days Co-design Workshop for the Women and Girls Fund (WGF)at the Grand Legacy Hotel, Kigali. This landmark event brought together 25 WGLOs from across Rwanda to shape the future of advocacy and support for women and girls.
Workshop Highlights:
πŸ”Ή Addressed key challenges faced by WGLOs in accessing funding and explored solutions.
πŸ”Ή Conducted a WGLO capacity assessment to identify gaps and areas for growth.
πŸ”Ή Discussed the structure of the Women and Girls Fund (WGF), including application processes, eligibility criteria, and funding priorities.
πŸ”Ή Proposed the structure of the WGF Steering Committee and its membership.

3️⃣ Enhanced capacity for WGLOs to implement impactful projects
4️⃣ Timely, flexible funding to support their missions
